In 1999, Jack and Sally Lytle were living in Newark, Ohio. Jack provided valuable information on the descendants of Mortimer Etenna and Lillian Sarah William Lytle, as well as his own family.

LYTLE WORKS AS INTERN FOR ASHBROOK Christopher G. Lytle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack T. Lytle, 358 Moull St., recently completed a six-week stint in the Washington Office of Cong. John Ashbrook (R-17). A June graduate of Baldwin - Wallace College in Berea, Lytle was one of five students from the 17th District who worked on Capital Hill as one of Ashbrook's interns. Interns are given assignmentw based on individual interest, studies and background experience. A Bi-partisan intern committee provides a series of meetings and seminars for the congressional interns to supplement their office work. Among the speakers the interns heard this summer were Sen. Hubert Humphrey. James Buckley, and J. William Fullbright, and Repts. Shirley Chisholm and Bella Abzug. A political science major, Lytle is also interested in radio work. While in Washington, he taped reports for WCLT, incluiding an account of Frank Sinatra's appearance before the Select Committee on Crime, where Lytle had stationed himself two hours before the hearing got underway to insure getting a seat. 302. HELEN⁶ BERLIN MCGUIRE (Minnie⁵ McGuire, William⁴ ,William³ ,John², William¹), married DELBERT CHARLES PALMER, born 1902; died 28 December 1983 in Tulsa; buried Rose Hill Cemetery, Tulsa. Helen Palmer was the source of the valuable 1984 letter to Olive Peters, and 1996 and 1997 letters to me. She also provided information on her family. Helen taught school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for 46 years. See Dedication (Home Page).

July 2009: Helen is to celebrate her 100th birthday this November. She will be honored 22 August at the Fleming Center, Methodist Manor, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
